The Ontario woman, who subbed for the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB), has been charged with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrlawyers.com\/chinese\/index.html\">sexual assault<\/a>. She occasionally taught for the school board for the last three years.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for\u00a0the YCDSB said the board does everything it can to ensure the safety of its students and its staff. The accused teacher is no longer actively teaching for the board and is on paid leave. The spokesperson also said the board is cooperating fully with York Regional Police regarding an ongoing investigation and has made counselling services available to both students and staff.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, a friend of the accused said the woman is very caring and was shocked to hear about the allegations. The woman, who is a Vaughn resident,\u00a0has been charged with three counts each of sexual exploitation and sexual assault. She is likely working alongside legal counsel to prepare a defense to the formal charges.<\/p>\n<p>Individuals who are facing serious criminal charges like sexual assault have the right in Ontario to mount an aggressive defence.
