Unlike good spaghetti, however, serious criminal\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrlawyers.com\/chinese\/Drug-Charges\/Drug-Trafficking\/index.html\">allegations<\/a>\u00a0are very unappetizing. Two men who can attest to that were arrested recently in north Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>On May 3, Toronto Police executed a search warrant at a home near Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue. During the search, officers seized a quantity of drugs found on the premises. The police allegedly found\u00a0134 Alprazolam pills,\u00a036 grams of cocaine and\u00a0150 grams of marijuana. Alprazolam\u00a0is a drug employed to treat certain anxiety disorders.<\/p>\n<p>During the search, the police reported seeing a vehicle nearby with two men inside. Officers detained the occupants and searched the inside of the vehicle, and allegedly found a loaded large calibre handgun with an altered serial number. A 22-year-old man was arrested and charged with 13 crimes, including\u00a0careless transport of a firearm,\u00a0possession of a firearm obtained by crime and\u00a0possession for the purpose of trafficking. Also arrested was a 23-year-old man who now faces seven charges, among them\u00a0careless transport of a firearm,\u00a0occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm and\u00a0possession of a firearm with an altered serial number.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever\u00a0police conduct a search of private premises\u00a0or a vehicle, there is the possibility of a breach of the rights of the suspect.
